The bench seating in our Clients pub was in need of some attention and a colour refresh. Upon inspection and discussion with the client, it was decided that the back of the seating units were to be cleaned and recycled as the upholstery was still in good condition.
The seat bases received new foam, timber repairs were completed where necessary and the bench seats were then reupholstered in a striking Berry coloured Crib 5 Contract faux leather. The seams were top stitched to enhance the aesthetics as well as to reinforce their strength. We also made new and bespoke wooden kick panels which were varnished to match.
The completed job was achieved within timescale and budget and all bench seating was re-installed by us during the pubs opening hours, causing minimal disruption and in time for the busy weekend trade. The regulars were as delighted as the owners with the new and improved seating.
We look forward to working with the Newmarket Tavern and Craft Union Pubs again in the near future.
