Since 2012 Heritage Upholstery (formerly Pierre Mellows Upholstery) has been delivering uncompromisingly beautiful pieces of upholstery into homes and businesses. As a husband and wife family-run business we are a talented collective with a shared ethos. We feel immensely privileged to work with our clients cherished furniture and we pride ourselves on offering an exemplary level of service.

Our furniture is more than functional: Every stitch is considered and every item produced within our workshop is handmade by a passionate upholsterer who is proud to be a part of your story.

ESTABLISHED IN 2012

Heritage Upholstery quickly developed relationships with local interior designers to work on hotel and holiday home renovations, especially within the South Hams area. Following on from these projects we began to undertake larger scale projects such as hotels, pubs and commercial venues.

OUR FOCUS

Re-upholstering items is a wonderfully sustainable way of giving tired items a new lease of life, where you have the flexibility to completely change the style or remain faithful to the original character. Championing a business that is built on sustainability is something that we are exceptionally proud of.

Pierre carried out a large commercial upholstery contract for us last year. He had the most thorough knowledge of anyone that we spoke to regarding crib 5 and relevant legislation which was comforting from the off. The whole process (from consultation to finished product) was flawless and enjoyable. They designed the colour scheme and presented to the board who were instantly sold on the redesign.
